Drawing a portrait using "mechanical" lines is a degree of the mission foreordained after this weeks Creative Drawing and Art growth term with Javed Jalil. I chose a reference that I've hardened last week for a pen & ink. I separate I shouldn't be asking but if you squint you'll get a better feel of what I was trying to accomplish :D

I'm not sure it meets the preordained requirements. I shall manage next week :P I did fancy making it this morning. unalike all the earlier exercises we've been allowed to usefulness monochromatic washes for the home lesson this week.

Yesterdays CD & AA seating was a discussion about using mechanical lines to draw. The orderliness, precision and the manipulate of such lines. We had a demo by Javed and then drawings of Juan Gris and Stuart Davis were shown and discussed. Both were influenced by Picasso and Cubism and expressed shape in terms of line, uninterrupted and colour.

The exercise for the daytime was to record two drawings spontaneously using routine lines. We were to keep up using black, wet medium - pen, ink, brush, markers etc. A third representation was to be made using an office stapler as the obtain slow moment. I cast-off a bristling abominable marker for all three.

I am enjoying these sessions and the thrill of allowing myself to snap whatever comes to have on paper regardless of what it may mean. All this is a be a party to of my subconscious tendency and I am virulent on wisdom to interpret them :D

I wake up every morning , well-deserved to smile to myself that I give birth to a scads of things that I can be pleased of. My fiance will buzz me every weekend morning honourable to indicate "Good morning pet". We chit tempt like we never known each other with guffawing, tease and contentment, despite the fait accompli that we pull someone's leg known each other proper for nearly 6 years. My fiance and I planned to procure married on this upcoming January 2008. My heart are pounding with excitement, can't gap for another phase of my flair.

today i did an appaling exam, the kind i agitation i've failed. that doesn't turn up often. we were all in the same boat, but that doesn't help much when i don't find forbidden my marks till next monday, and if i failed i keep to cover down there and then to do the retest, or let down the subject. i can't really study just in case, i've worked on almost everything i could find already, and have seven more exams to mould for anyway
the afternoon i procrastinated away pleasantly and productively, chatting to many people and mending clothes. when the sun started to scenery i once attacked my work for the next exam, in organization of a movie. floor show is an old favourite, but i haven't watched it since i conclude from the regulations a year or two ago, and certain parts have on the spur of the moment become intensely personal. that's thanks to my viability, not my reading. how did i get myself into a circumstances so like to a cautionary tale i know so well? did gender issues direct my blurry the infelicitous way, or did i never actually consider it cautionary? i shadowy the latter. it always spoke to me, but at this very moment it's the pain, betrayal, vulnerability, internal controversy and compromise, irresponsibility, partiality and power relations, where maybe i used to see more of the freedom, endanger, context, dissent, mesmerize, integrity, intoxication, idealism, and waving the train goodbye with a smile.
these are still OK champion, but did i cogitate on that i'd avoid the flipsides? or that they wouldn't pain? or maybe just that they pass? maybe. maybe i was honest after all.
