P Band – Deputy Manager – Estimation

Division: PED

Function: Estimation

KRA’s :

• Facilitating orders
• Designing and preparing cost estimates and proposals
• Operating Expense Control

Job Description :
The vacancy is in the Estimation function of PED. The incumbent will be responsible for:

• Preliminary design and cost estimates.
• Proposals.
• Co-ordination with various departments for new products and to arrive at the best price and delivery.
• Keeping track of trends in material and duty structure
• Training and development of second line Estimation team

Requisite Qualification

• B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Requisite Experience:

• 5 to 7 years experience in Estimation & Design of pressure vessels.
• Well acquainted with international codes like ASME, TEMA, etc.

Preffered Experience:

• Well acquainted with international codes like ASME, TEMA, PD 5500 etc.

Special Skills Required :

• Operating knowledge of BaaN
• Operating knowledge of PV Elite software
